Valued investors and GAN NFT holders: Please view the updates below: 1. About Staking GAN NFTs: We have finished testing the Staking mechanism and it is unique only to GAN. The reward when staking is collected from the allocated % of profit earned from PVP. - The division ratio will be reasonably calculated depending on the STAR rating of the NFT that you hold; - Staking time will be calculated on a daily basis from 0 GMT to 0 GMT the next day (if you start after 0 GMT, your time will start from 0 GMT the next day); - After every day you will see GAN updated in the ‘Staking Reward’ section, users can claim if the balance is greater than 0. 2. About the PVP mechanism: - The mechanics of % winning and losing, as well as the number of tokens to bet are unchanged. Every guest hero will be counted as a STAR 1 level 1 so to these players please be aware that your win rate may be higher but if you lose you will lose more tokens. 2.1 The tax collection mechanism of PVP will be updated as follows: - Tax will be collected on the total amount of the winner's tokens (3% for GAN hero and 5% for guest hero); - If players bet with GAN/BUSD/BNB, 50% tax will be collected and burned, 50% will be pushed into the staking pool; - If players bet with BANANA or some other token later, 35% tax will be collected and burned, 35% will be pushed to the staking pool and the remaining 30% will be burned to support partners. (The publisher will not collect any fees from PVP players). 3. About the continued development of GAN: After successfully bringing APESWAP's NFTs into our ecosystem, we will continue to look for more partners to bring into the game. As mentioned, we are aiming for GAN’s PVP mode to allow other NFTs to participate. To allow these NFTs to join, we have created the GAN BOT. Depending on the NFT connected, the bot will display the character on its screen and battle!! To start things off, we will be joined by the APESWAP NFTs. So, with that in mind, we are going to take the following steps to ensure the continuation of this project: 🚫 Close the PVE game mode to permanently stop the minting of new tokens🚫 As everyone knows, we had a good run with earning GAN tokens from the game. Users bought multiple NFTs and raised their level to the maximum possible. But now, earnings are low, and they aren't covering the GAS fees. Due to the value of GAN being less than the GAS fee, its price is not going up as users need to sell to earn. As a team, we feel that PVE has run its course, and we need to focus on the real game: The Arena. This means bringing more NFTs into the arena. Solution: Promote PVP, partner with more communities to bring their NFTs into the arena, and spread the word further on GAN. ** Please give your suggestions as to which game's NFTs (BSC ONLY) you would like to see in the arena by filling out this form: https://forms.gle/rBrKkZfg8c87bmJk9 > >Why focus on PVP? PVP allows us to maximize the user base without them dumping the token to earn. This will be the most effective solution to bring the GAN price back up and strengthen the community so we can follow the path we had initially set out for us. We will implement the changes step by step, with the breakdown as follows: STEP 1: Creating a NFT staking pool. Since PVE will be closed, users who have collected many NFTs will have the option to stake them for GAN (rates will be released once staking mechanism is set up). The more NFTs staked will return higher rewards for the users who staked them; STEP 2: The issue of gamification was looming large, and we have found a solution: We are able to connect non-gaming NFTs as well now (as this was very difficult to design and code in the past). STEP 3: The Fee for PVP is no longer dependent on the ranking and level of a hero. EVERY HERO will pay the following fees: -NATIVE HEROES : 5% -NON-NATIVE HEROES (Guest): 7% **** The user who LISTS their hero for battle will get a 1% fee discount. The above collected fee is divided into 3 parts: Part 1: Reward pool for staked NFTs; Part 2: Wagers placed in GAN will have their fees BURNED; Part 3: Team will use these for marketing activities. 🔈 NOTE 🔈 Since PVE will be closed, there are still 150+ million tokens that have NOT been minted. Since these can only be released these using the PVE contract (and that contract will be closed), there is no way to mint these tokens. The price that $GAN was getting listed at was at a substantial discount from our current price, and the reason given for the discounted price was 'to offer a higher incentive to the LATOKEN community to purchase'.
