Since I found the Pharisee-Persia connection, and how original Judaism was very likely subverted by Babylonian Persia, I'm finding other interesting things. So I searched, and there's quite a bit written about the Pharisees being Persians and not Jews. Some still add the word Jew, but the translation from other languages seem to suggest it's just Persian.
