How to grow a lot of peppers.
⠀
- When planting peppers in the ground, do not deepen them in any way: they are not tomatoes.
⠀
- If the sprouts blossomed and set fruit, that's ok, in the greenhouse the plant "comes to its senses" very quickly and the set fruit starts to grow vigorously, do not plant outdoors plants with flowers and set fruit.
⠀
- In between the rows, be sure to plant low varieties of "good neighbors": marigold or marigolds to get rid of pests, both leaf-eating and soil. You can plant basil and coriander for the same purpose. Coriander and parsley flowering in between the rows attract insect pollinators to peppers.
⠀
- Good bait for pepper pollinating insects: banana and apple skins.
⠀
- During the growing season pepper should be trimmed: shorten strongly elongated shoots, all shoots below the main fork of the stem and the branches inside the crown that are shaded because nothing will grow on them anyway.
⠀
- Regular harvesting encourages the plant to form new fruit.
