Researchers analyzing data from Medicare detected an elevated stroke risk among the elderly following receipt of a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine made by Pfizer and Moderna. The researchers looked at people who received an influenza shot at the same time as a COVID shot and saw that the elevated risk only persisted among people who received the vaccines simultaneously. They also found an elevated risk of nonhemorrhagic stroke among people who received an influenza vaccine and did not get a COVID shot. According to the researchers, the “clinical significance of the risk of stroke after vaccination must be carefully considered together with the significant benefits of receiving an influenza vaccination.” With higher stroke risk and several studies showing that the influenza vaccine is only 16% effective, what exactly are the “significant benefits”?

According to medical journalist Robert Whitaker, the widely-made claim that antidepressants work for nearly 7 out of 10 real-world patients is based on research misconduct and scientific fraud. The STAR*D Study (Sequenced Treatment Alternatives to Relieve Depression), published in 2006, was the largest and longest-running antidepressant effectiveness trial ever conducted. The authors claimed an overall cumulative remission rate of 67%. However, a reanalysis of the STAR*D data in 2010 revealed serious problems. Had the study protocol been followed, the cumulative remission rate would only have been 35%.

The Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s largest PR firms, recently agreed to pay a $350 million settlement over claims that its false and misleading marketing contributed to the opioid epidemic. Publicis is officially partnered with NewsGuard “to fight the ‘infodemic’ of misinformation about COVID-19 and its vaccines.” NewsGuard has a tool called BrandGuard that sends out “exclusion lists” to advertisers that target alternative media. The FDA has finalized a rule allowing certain clinical trials to operate WITHOUT obtaining informed consent from participants. The study cannot pose more than minimal risk to humans and must include appropriate safeguards to protect the rights, safety, and welfare of those involved. Pushback against the new rule suggested the changes would allow institutional review boards (IRBs) to compromise on standards more and more, adding that the term “minimal risk” is far too vague and could be misinterpreted or abused. When Prozac was first created, Eli Lilly actually had no intention of using it to treat depression. When the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) was originally passed in 1986, vaccine makers were still liable for design defects and doctors could still be sued for medical malpractice if they didn’t fulfill the requirements of the law, which included providing parents with informed consent. The implementation of VAERS was “a remarkable accomplishment.” However, there is no punishment for non-compliance with the safety provisions. This is why vaccine side effects are underreported by anywhere from 90-99%. In a relatively short amount of time, the 1986 Act was stripped of its safeguards through a slew of amendments. The Health Alert Network (HAN) is a national program run by the CDC to disseminate health alerts to the public whenever necessary. However, during the pandemic, serious heart inflammation from the mRNA shots was never relayed through HAN even though it was a known side effect. According to internal CDC documents, a full alert was drafted by the CDC in May of 2021 yet they never sent it out. Instead, they proceeded to encourage as many people as possible to get the shots. The widespread faith in vaccines is often traced back to the assumption that the very first vaccine in human history effectively eradicated one of the deadliest pandemics. In a review published last year in the journal Vaccine, researchers found that non-live vaccines like influenza, COVID-19, hepatitis B, and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTaP) tend to cause adverse nonspecific effects (NSE), increasing a person’s risk of all-cause mortality and the potential risk of infections from diseases they are meant to protect against. The DTaP vaccine has arguably the most evidence of adverse NSEs. Girls who took the DTaP vaccine had a 50% HIGHER RISK of dying than boys who took it. Compared to girls who were DTaP-unvaccinated, vaccinated girls’ risk of dying was more than 2.5 TIMES HIGHER.
