Follow-up Announcement Okay, so after a ruthless amount of DMs and Twitter posts from community members old and new, I want to make a follow up announcement here to hopefully try and dissipate any anger or confusion that people may have towards me and the team. Firstly I just want to say I am, from the bottom of my heart, genuinely sorry. I am sorry to anyone I have let down. I am sorry to the people that are angry. I am sorry to those that have stuck by my side for so long. I am sorry to the people who have made every attempt to keep positive during all this, despite every fiber of their being telling them to leave. And I am sorry to the mod team that have tirelessly worked to keep the house in order. RAINBOW has been an incredible experience, and not only have I met some really cool people but I have learnt a lot. One of the things that I have learnt is that in these projects, they go up, and then they come down - and this macro movement is completely outside of the control of anyone, whether it is the team, the funding, or the community. The best thing that we can do when piloting a project, is aim for that next swing. Unfortunately it got to a point where we were just always on our backfoot and could never ever convert our energy into a positive return for you. If we compare RAINBOW to the likes of SafeMoon, Bonfire, Floki or any other top tier BSC project, we can see the exact same trend. We also saw core team members suddenly depart, we saw leaders dumping millions worth of their tokens, and we saw some teams abandon their projects altogether. I truly thought with RAINBOW that it would be different, and I wanted it to be so badly and I believe this was a main reason we were so successful as a project. Hitting a $36M market cap is no small feat at ALL. There are lots of things we could have done better. We are not perfect, and we have learnt a lot. Yes, we could have been more communicative, and yes we could have made better products that had less bugs, and yes we could have worded our announcements better - and we are actively going to learn from this. Hiring people has always been the biggest struggle for me, I have had people join our team posing that they are these great engineers that then steal code, or have no experience whatsoever. This is on me though, and I need to learn to have a better vetting process. Either way, I know there are people in our community right now that think that they could do a better job and I invite you to take on this challenge whole-heartedly. Anyway. There are a lot of comments right now about rugging, and scamming that I'd like to address here. This project is NOT a rug, nor a scam. We are complicit with the law, and none of our actions have tried to steal or take tokens away from people. We never advised people financially, and we always did our due diligence to explain the risks involved with crypto. Not only is our liquidity pool locked, and still there, we never dumped any of our tokens. I have had an overwhelming amount of abuse since stepping down, with people in this community (some of you that have been long standing members) sharing my personal info around on Twitter and in sub-communities. I even saw someone share a photo of my house, which is just absolutely unacceptable behavior. I never rugged you guys, I never scammed you guys. I have been here since day one, and this is my second project now that has gone over x100. There has been no foul play whatsoever, and for those of you that truly believe this then I feel extremely bad for you if you decide to stay in the crypto space because it's going to get a whole lot worse from here. I know the abuse is hailing from a select few members, and to balance that out I have also received a bunch of DMs from people saying thank you for everything I have done which is making this a lot easier - so thank you to those people. All I ask is that people try to remember that there are real people here that did truly try their best. So.

Hi RAINBOW Community, It comes with a heavy heart, but the time has come for me to hang up my mantle as the lead developer for this project. I've tried my best to deliver what I can for the community and I've been really pushing behind the scenes. There have been bumps along the way and my main mindset has always been to try and solve them to the best of my ability, but it usually was either unfruitful or was met with contempt from others. To make things worse, the state of my relationship with the community quickly deteriorated because of the sheer demand and blame, and it left me feeling extremely avoidant and anxious - and I've just not been the same since. The team and I thought we'd snap out of things, and try to focus on the positives and aim to do a big marketing surge - as we can see, it's just been met with further selling and any money we spend on things is just getting chewed up. The entirety of the buyback was launched as well to try and bring back some of that old hype yet we didn't see any real positive outcome for this. So it is with this that I say farewell, and good luck to everyone. I know that there are genuine people still around that will read this, and have supported me and backed me throughout everything and I want to say to those people thank you. It really means a lot. To be part of a project that was over a 100x is bonkers, and we should all be proud of this. 🌈 Important Announcement: Staking 🌈 We've found the bug in the smart contracts that has been affecting a select few of you. The issue is down to not properly handling the rounding errors that reflection-based tokenomics come with. This is not something that our tests flagged. Our Solidity developer is going to be working out a fix to try and upgrade the contracts. To fix this, we'll be asking people to withdraw their funds and then returning tokens to the people that are experiencing this issue. In the meantime, each of the 4 pools are going to have their withdrawal penalties removed entirely, and the rewards ceased. The people that are able to, should withdraw their funds so that we can focus on the people affected by this. PSA I need to reach out to you all right now about the current state of things. Unfortunately, whether or not we message the main chat, it won't affect or change the workload that we're all doing behind the scenes. It just invites more abuse, and affects productivity - the team don't feel safe, and the team don't feel happy and there are groups of people targeting and FUDing us all over the place which is ruining it for everyone else. If you are angry that you have lost money on a trade, then take responsibility for it. You either bought at the wrong time, or you didn't sell at the right time. No one is responsible for that except yourself, and the team are not responsible for making you all rich. Be realistic about things, this is crypto. Yes, we've taken a back foot on our presence in main chat, but it is purely down to the abuse we've been receiving - and nothing else. My heart goes out to our mod team that have been struggling every second of every day trying to battle off people that have just been downright horrible. Now, if you are prepared to wait, and you believe in the team and have patience, then do so. Otherwise, leave. You are just causing issues for everyone including yourselves, you are hurting real people and you are affecting the relationship between the developers and the community. I am seeing messages from certain members saying "If only they had messaged, the whales wouldn't have sold", which is ludicrous. You are again placing blame on us. To people tracking RAINBOW wallets & funds: - Tracking the current wallets does not build up a representative image of how the money is managed. - We are moving funds out of our hot wallets to protect against scams and hacks that are going around. When developing using various tools, there are more and more security risks involved when it comes to your private keys. 🌈 Developer Update 🌈 Hi RAINBOWers, I hope you are doing well and enjoying the recent bounce we've had in the market. It has been a week or so now since we've made an official announcement, so I'd say one is long overdue! There has been a lot going on behind the scenes, and we've been keeping ourselves very busy and working on various things, and I wanted to share a little bit of information with you all. Before I jump into the meat of it, I just wanted to give a brief weekly recap: - We are at nearly $2M TVL for RAINBOW staking! - 260k website views across Rainbow and Bifrost - 70k Twitter impressions - 2k+ new Telegram members We've also hired a new front-end web developer to help with some of the front end interfaces - a bigger team! So we are still GROWING, and there is still eyes on our project! In terms of the bigger projects, there are 3 main areas of focus we've had that have had the majority of our attention recently; this is Bifrost, the Norsemen NFT Collection and the Kingdoms of Asgard game. Bifrost A vast majority of the work for Bifrost has been behind-the-scenes, so we appreciate not all of it is visible. There have been various network bugs and event mismanagement issues that we've been cleansing through to improve the speed and response of the dApp. It also has had a bunch of code refactoring, with the addition of being able to view sales when not connected to a network! The backend has had its architecture completely revamped, and once we've shipped it we can integrate all of our new features to place Bifrost in a position that is at the forefront of token launchpad/IDO services. Norsemen NFT Collection The Norsemen collection has been an incredibly exciting endeavor for us. Starting as a pre-mint for the Kingdoms of Asgard game, these special Viking-esque characters are going to be much more than just an image that can be owned - and we've been planning and implementing a whole bunch of ideas for them. The artwork itself is well underway, and so we can continue to give you updates as this unfolds! We also would love to hear some feedback from you, and @Welshyy is preparing some questions to get a feel for our community and what you want - so look forward to these! Kingdoms of Asgard While we may not have a lot to reveal at this moment in time, it's important to share that this is a serious project for us and so it is imperative that we take the time to plan carefully and accordingly - but we are extremely excited to show you more! We've spent a lot of time grooming the project documents, and they are almost there. 🌈 Staking Issues 🌈 Hi peeps, Just a heads up that we’re actively looking into the front end issues a few people are having with the staking interface, and we will let you know as soon as a fix is found. From the smart contracts themselves, it still looks like a majority of people are able to use them as intended, and we are still trying to replicate the issue on our end. In the mean time we’re debugging through the kind members of the community to figure out what makes these peoples environments different to everyone else’s so we can get to the bottom of it.
