Section 81b of the UK Extradiiton Act 2003 bars extradition if the defendant may be at risk for prejudice at trial or at punishment.

Edward Fitzgerald, defense lawyer for Assange, says the defense accepts the unambigious assurance from the United States that Mr. Asssange will not be at risk of the death penalty and will not be charged with a death penalty offense. However, on the second assurance he says that it is an inadequate assurance and Mr. Assange is only guaranteed that he may raise the issue before the US court (that he should be able to receive First Amendment protections). It does not guarantee that it will be granted. Therefore, Assange is at a real risk of being discriminated against on the basis of nationality (he is Australian) which is a violation of Section 81b of the UK Extradition Act 2003.

He also admitted that the vaccine wasn’t really “necessary” for people under 50 years old. He THEN admitted that many young and healthy people have suffered “significant side effects” from Covid mRNA shots. Although this is a significant admission, it’s a little too late.
