Blur has launched Blend, a peer-to-peer lending protocol built alongside Web3 investment firm Paradigm, which allows people to use their NFTs as collateral to access ETH liquidity and gain access to expensive blue-chip NFTs for a small down payment. The loans are set at fixed rates and have no expiration date, accruing interest until the loan is repaid. The risk involved for the borrower can be significant, and lenders are incentivized to offer favorable terms. Blur is offering rewards to users who offer loans, and there are no marketplace fees for borrowing or lending.🤟🏼

Yuga Labs, the entity behing the ultra-famous Bored Apes Yatch Club NFTs, is launching a new collection, this time on the Bitcoin Blockchain. 🔗 It's called "TwelveFold" and it will be made of 300 generative-art pieces, stored on the Bitcoin network leveraging a new protocol called "Ordinals". It will be sold though an auction, and bids will be naturally done in BTC. ✨🤟🏼

NFT Now has published an interesting article, stating that web3 has the potential to disrupt the current monetization flows when it comes to creators and brands.✨ Basically the idea is that in the current landscape, big corporations are extracting all the value of selling their users attention, while not giving back anything to the same users. We completely agree on developing technology that empowers our users and creators more. 🤟🏼

One of the big problems of NFTs, when compared to tokens, is that they're not liquid. With tokens you can interact with many DeFi applications, while NFT (for now) probably sit in your wallet and get dust.. but not for long. NFTX is one of the leading NFT-Fi (NFT finance) protocols on the map, allowing anybody to deposit an NFT they possess (if allowed and receive in exchange an amount of protocol tokens, they can then use and spend in a rising number of web3 applications. 🤟🏼🚀
