Pray 7:14 Father, I can sense the power of darkness trying to surround me. The enemy is trying to take back ground that Jesus has already won. I am aware of his strategies and tactics. He’s back at it again trying to knock me off course. I recognize that he is up to no good again. I come to You again and seek to walk in Your authority and power. In Christ, I can do all things and that includes not bending to the pressure he is trying to put on me. I know that this is a battle in the spirit and that my weapons of warfare are not physical. With Your power and the Holy Spirit I can pull down and destroy what he is trying to bring against me. I refuse to listen to his lies that he cannot be beaten. He already was defeated by Christ Jesus! Hallelujah! The weapons I need to succeed are supernatural and I need to stand up and speak against him! I need to declare what Your Word says about this situation. In Jesus Name, I bind and rebuke all of the enemy’s plans and attacks against me! I call them cancelled! I declare that I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! I stir myself up like David did and bless You Lord! I thank You for the victory that is mine through Jesus! I refuse to bow my knee in defeat despite all that the devil is bringing against me! You are my Protector and my Refuge Heavenly Father! I will fight the good fight of faith and I will win! Holy Spirit, please continue to help me pull down all the negative thoughts the enemy tries to plant in my mind. Help me to walk in love and refuse to be offended which will hinder the effectiveness of my prayer life. I ask for Your supernatural peace during this time. Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Please let it permeate every area of my life like a shield in Jesus Name! I speak light into the darkness and declare that all the plots, ploys, lies, and strategies of the enemy be exposed for what they are! Show me Holy Spirit if there are any footholds or entrances I’ve allowed to remain open so that the enemy got into my life. I praise You now that Jesus has defeated the devil in completion! Yes, through His life, death, and resurrection, the enemy has been stripped of all of his power. I know that he will never stop coming against me but greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world! This means that I can always defeat Him because You fight for me Lord! I am standing on Your Word and Your promises until I see the victory manifest in my situation! Your Word, angels, the blood of Jesus and His Name, is all I need to win, every time! I am a child of God and You promised to never leave me. That means You are always with me and that includes every spiritual battle! We are living in difficult times but whatever happens here in the future, there is one thing on the line and that is where you will spend eternity when you die. By the way, there is a 100% chance you will die but ultimately where will you spend eternity? This is the question. Today, you can know for sure. You can know for sure by accepting Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord. It says in the Bible, “ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. What an incredible promise. You can have that today. You just have to admit there is nothing you can do to save yourself but it is only what God’s Son, Jesus, did for us on the cross. That he died on the cross and 3 days later rose from the grave and conquered sin and death. Come to the cross today. I want to share an important message with you today. When you first realize that God has orchestrated all of creation to reach you with His message, it can be intriguing -- maybe even exhilarating. Then, you remember just how imperfect you are. That's a natural reaction when you start getting closer to God. He's perfect. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is supposed to be "good news" -- that's what the word gospel means. But the harsh truth is that we are separated from God because of our imperfection. Our sin is like a disease that leaves us in quarantine. Because of God’s perfection, he cannot allow sin to go unpunished. Left untreated, your sin disease will eventually land you in a place reserved for punishing Satan himself. It’s called Hell -- a place of darkness, fire and pain. The good news is that God’s perfection and holiness are equally matched by his mercy and compassion. He doesn’t want a single human to suffer in Hell, so he made a cure available. To satisfy the penalty for our sins, he allowed his son Jesus to take punishment in our place. In exchange, God offers us forgiveness -- a complete pardon. If you choose to become a Christ follower, you have to be equally willing to acknowledge your deepest sins and accept his most comprehensive forgiveness. The Gospel is a universal appeal to a universally broken species. If you think you have something to offer God that would make him more likely to accept you, just forget about it. The very best any of us could manage would be ridiculously insignificant and just as ridiculously unnecessary. Since Jesus alone was capable of paying our penalty, he became the only door through which we have access to God. Jesus told his closest followers, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." His exclusive claim is bold, but he backed it up by laying down his own life in our place. God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Paul wrote that in his letter to the Roman church surrounded by a pagan culture far from God. The really scary thing about the limitless forgiveness of God is that it leaves us all without an excuse. God has opened the doors of Heaven to all of humanity. With such an open invitation, if we choose not to accept it, we decline our only means of salvation. There's no alternative. There's no back door. The front door is open and the invitation has been issued without prejudice. A powerfully limitless God would like to consider you a friend. You can ignore his invitation, but the door won't close as long as there's breath in your lungs. You can be a rebel, but you don't have the power to change his mind. He won't rescind his invitation. Pray 7:14 (2 Chronicles 7:14) Heavenly Father, the times we’re in right now feel so uncertain. We’re battling fear and worry at every turn. We don’t know what the future holds, but we believe you’re holding us and won’t let go. We’re desperate to feel your presence surrounding us. We humble ourselves before you, aware of our need for you and believing in your great power. Thank you that no matter what we face, we know you are still greater. We praise you for your truth and are so grateful you’ve set us free from the clutching grasp of sin and death. Forgive us God, for the times we’ve missed the mark. This is a short reminder of the life of Corrie ten Boom. This is what a true legacy looks like. She survived the concentration camp during Hitler’s rule of Germany. She and her family saved the lives of over 800 Jews. A neighbor turned them in. Everyone of her family members taken to camp died- except for her.
