#randomthoughts Guys, I have been studying English for about 4-5 years now, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I have studied hard throughout the period. The biggest mistake that I made was stopping studying English for several times. If you ever happen to stop learning any language for certain amount of time, you know, that your skills get worse and you might even forget some grammar and vocabulary, which I guess the worst thing that a language learner can experience. Believe me, I myself studied Intermediate level several times, which is crazy :). Another mistake was the lack of listening and speaking practices. I had never spoken and listened to english on a daily basis until I reached the level of intermediate. So I would advise for whom who recently started studying language, try to learn with the help of things that you are interested in such as movies, YouTube videos or books. Please be patient and never stop studying and forget the results and focus on the process. And this month I have sat in the test (IELTS) and the results will be released in the 1st of February. And no matter what result I will get, I will be grateful for it. And I can confidently say that the last 9 months(from the beginning of intermediate to IELTS courses) of my journey was so awesome because it was the peroid that I stay consistent. I have never studied anything that hard before. After this all things I grasped the fact that consistency is very important in anything whether it is learning a language or job skills. #tip Shadowing This method helps you to improve your pronunciation. And the only thing you need to do is imitate every single word of the person you like (blogger, actor or actress). With doing that you can learn how to sound more natural. How to do it : 1. Take a one minute video or audio. 2. Listen to it several times to get the general idea. 3. Try to repeat the words after speaker as instantly as possible. 4. Record yourself and compare it with the original one. P.s: one thing you have to bare in mind is that "Don't expect huge results in just 3 days". It is not gonna happen. Try to do it as consistent as you can. #randomthoughts Learning english shouldn't be just for the sake of IELTS. After getting the score that you desire, you have to keep learning. You have to be lifetime learner. You have to ,at least for half an hour, keep reading or listening something in English to brush your knowledge up. This is to say that either use it ore you will lose it. The reason that I am writing this is that I know a lof of students who take the score that they want and just throw away all of their english books into the bookshelf and just move on with their previous lives.
