The gunman was waiting for 12 hours, and would have been caught in a simple perimeter by an agent walking or driving around the outside of the fence. Which means two things: A) There was no perimeter check, And more importantly B) The gunman somehow knew there would be no perimeter check because he stayed basically camped out in that positon the entire time. After the last asassination attempt only a month ago, why would someone mentally present enough to plan all of this assume they would be safe hanging out in that position? 🤨

Apparently Hezbollah still uses pagers, and today about 2,500 of their pagers simultaneously blew up in their pockets, killing or wounding massive numbers of Hezbollah members in Lebanon. Obviously everybody is thinking this is a Mossad thing, and if that's the case that means the Mossad somehow managed to infiltrate their supply chain (I'm assuming they source their pagers and the corresponding phone numbers in such a way that the phone numbers are hard to ascertain, as that would be a security risk. I'm assuming Israel is smart enough to keep this targeted to minimize damage to civilians. All of this is to say: HOLY SHIT, NEVER FUCK WITH ISRAEL. Damn. 😳

📜 A fascinating finding from Open AI's research into their next generation of models is that it appears trying to train censorship into the model's Chain-of-thought reasoning process actually makes the model dumber. In fact they made the decision to hide the unadulterated chain of thought from the user completely because of the risk it might say something in it's private thought process that would normally violate it's public facing safety training. Apparently making a model woke and teaching it to self censor actually makes it dumber about everything else in general. (Just like in real life. 🫠) That bodes well for how censored and politically correct these larger models can reasonably be forced to be in the future, as there will always be another company eyeing to claim the top spot on the leaderboards by being less woke in it's Chain of thought, and ultimately this will trickle down to the quality of the output the user sees. It might actually create an arms race to see who can create the least censored giant API web-portal based model possible without actually letting it teach you how to make meth, to use the common example. 😐
