After many hurdles, we finally succeeded and are very happy now to announce: the ĦRecorder App is online since yesterday! 💪 For better searchability and findability we changed the maltesian letter "Ħ" to "H" in HRecorder. Already made changes (new title, text and apk) still have to be checked and updated by Google. Its official title in Playstore will be 'HRecorder: Blockchain Witness' Those of you who participated in the testround please uninstall the testversion of the app and install the official one in Playstore now. CALLING FOR A DAO TASK FORCE Dear Hydra Hatchlings and fellow Hydra headz, The super secret app is ready! With the good news around a German company accomplishing a DID-based business-app on top of the Hydraledger, we decided to go with the community a decentralized way and build a DAO to have a counter-weight to the industry. For those among you, that are not interested in a DAO, but fear that this might change the current cold staking system - DON'T WORRY - there will be no change in the near foreseeable future. Do not forget, that the backbone of the Hydra-Ledger are the NODES and your elected representatives - the Delegates. They are here to stay, with or without DAO. Instead of just throwing three DAO proposals onto you that are the gist of months research and then let you decide which you want (but probably don't properly understand the way why we end up there), we decided to make the whole process completely transparent as well. We offer now to a group of super-interested members an intensive discussion-driven workshop about DAOs which leads into creating our own, together. There we will daily some knowledge dropped or we give reading homework and in just a few days we will get closer to the DAO creation moment, where the outcome will be presented to the community. We know that by this we risk that the outcome will be different than the ready-proposals we have here, but as we said and promised many times - this is our final move to give the project into the hands of the community and get to a point of total decentralization. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your child becoming able to explore the world under its own terms. It is not about how WE WOULD LIKE THIS to work, but more HOW YOU WANT THIS TO OPERATE! If you are interested in learning more about DAOs, if you are actually able to invest time and tokens and you have analytical and social skills, then you are welcome to be part of this transition phase from a distributed project with central elements to a Decentralized Autonomous Organization. Again, be warned, it is time consuming and you are expected to be able to cope with substantial Ethereum fees and you need lots of Hydra tokens. Fello Hydra Headz,, This is a first little task for the community as I need here the swarm intelligence feature. Please list me ERC20 Tokens that offer cold staking or other rewards AND are likely to make more gains than wBTC in the next bull run. Deadline is tonight 2300 UTC+1 I want you to be chaotic, without plan, and just start with this approach: Everybody that knows of such a good token must propose it - knowledge about the techstack or the tokeneconomics is NOT needed to make a proposal, as gut feeling is important as well. So dont be shy, name us your Token that will be a good fundament for the Tech-funds (example). But let us make a top ten list, because it is unlikely that all of them could be used with our SmartContracts or are just a safe bet with over 80% chance of success. Dragon Eggs, Hatchlings and human babies just throw out THEIR FAVOURITE tokens, and let the "exerts" access it. With WORLDWIDE BUSINESS ADOPTION POTENTIAL!! Maybe you can do it already professionally: You name the token ticker, and the staking rewards and a comment WHY it came up your mind. This is VERY VERY valuable and a good task inside a DAO. Then the the community votes with thumbs-up 👍 or down 👎. This is the gut-feeling (swarm-unintelligence that is mostly right) that we NEED to use as fundamental decision making. Then if there is a Nerd who knows how to evaluate on fundamentals, and doesnt expect salary but wants to help us choosing the right tokens, he can start shuffling the list from Top to Worst. the List curator will stay in tough with him and community to discuss the final list. The most engaged members voluntary step up to do the job because they wanted anyways study this topic or they are already already an expert. Send me till 23:00h UTC the list and for each token that I can use for my DAO Wallet concepts I will send the ones who proposed it first a bounty. the experts studying the quality as well as the list-organisator(s) get a bounty , as well. That's how every DAOs without VC funding or doing an ICO is likely to fail after 1-2 years. But if we start this way, voluntaristic and grow organically then we become super succesful. Even if not - that is an investment into your own talents and you get in 1 year DAO more experience than in any other corporate job. either way, a win. There is no other way. That is the way. Hail there 👋 Hydra heads! The super secret app surpassed the MVP status already in late February when we wanted to release it first. Thanks to the customer's wish (and our strategic partner) and based on the awesome demonstrations and feedback we decided to push through and finish the whole thing. So we developed the super secret DID app as a full fledged app including with all must-have features. The last thing missing is on the last mile (desig, UX, dashboard with graphics, creating DIDs for projects). Everything looks good that it could be delivered ready to rock and roll to clients this very month. Once that happened we can present it to you, and show the community the long awaited details. After that we will start building the DAO, because we feel it makes most sense to think about that when the community can actually evaluate the worth of the IOP Stack based on a working finished ans polished app rather than just from hearings. But before that we will introduce various concepts how to govern our community as food for thought so we can then decide and start building the best community based structure to leverage the stack, and start with the planned improvements (Blockchain advancements, DID improvements) and further IOP Stack development (for example a DID based encrypted p2p protocol called project Mercury). Outview and Forecast: We are making on all frontlines progress. Most notably is the great success of the DID app from the German Company that is being implemented on production site during the upcoming 2 weeks. At the same time we are finalizing legal issues and prepare to release the whole IOP stack of the IOP corporation and the Foundation into a community-led self-governing DAO. When Hydraledger becomes a real DAO we will have bulletin boards, project proposals, voting, governance mechanisms, etc. The community will at some point in the future take over the IOP stack, all code and govern it as DAO. With this step we would finalize our always given promise to make the stack open, free and not owned by a corporation. The foundation will become a normal member of the DAO with minority share. Given this is the way for the community, it makes absolute sense to self-organize in something like chapters or societies with their own chats and messaging boards or classic forum software. There is no guideline, no best way, that is the beauty of decentralization: All communities can explore different approaches to keep their people informed, organized and engaged to make the best decisions and how to vote next and govern the DAO in their own interests. I know there will be many questions, but don't worry, we will publish a paper about this process once we started. First, we have to bring DIDs to real businesses. And here big news are about to come in the nearest future (earlier than the DAO). I hope I could tease you a bit and make you excited about the next weeks. Hydraledger is going to be used in the real business world. Hydraledger will become a DAO. The community will get the possibility to own the whole IOP stack and decide about the future development and positions inside this decentralized organization. You are Hydra! We are Hydra!

Be aware of pishing attacks! 2FA (2 factor authentication) and other verification messages never have a clickable URL in it. Never ever fall for this. Keep your wallets safe, only have online on an exchange what you can afford to lose. With a DID based authentication like from Hydraledger this would not happen. We did just build DID/VC verification into the app of a customer, btw 😎 Be safe. Your exchange never sends you such messages. 🐲🐉
